Hontoon Island State Park

I've realized that vacationing in Florida can be a very expensive proposition. Just this week in May 2019, I traveled to Florida with my Son, Daughter in law and my 3-year-old grandson. Although I love the big attractions like Disney World and Universal Studios. I'm...

Finding Treasure at Crater of Diamonds State Park

Meet Chris and June – 4 Reasons to Trust the Universe While Traveling

On a recent traveling adventure, exploring upstate New York, I discovered four really great reasons why trusting the Universe is an awesome thing. Instead of taking the highway, the GPS insisted that a meander through the backroads of western New York was in order. I figured, “Hey, sometimes you just have to trust the universe to put you on the right path.”

Pipestone National Monument – Minnesota – Pleasantly surprising

How has traveling changed your perspective? Travel opens your eyes to new places and people. Those people that you meet while traveling can have a profound impact on your life and can totally change your perspective. I will never forget the man at the hot-springs in New Mexico. You have to walk down a very narrow and steep path to get to the hotsprings. Here he comes with one leg and an oxygen tank. He taught me that there really are no excuses. .

I was at Cape Canaveral Beach and it occured to me that being at the beach is one of the most sensual things you can do. The sound of the surf, the smell of ocean, the feel of the sand between your toes, the salty taste of the ocean spray. Just an amazing feeling. What's your favorite beach? Mine is Gulf Shores Alabama.
